Messenger on the App store doesn't work

The loading screen is the only thing that works on this app.

    Exactly the same problem that the one which is described just above. I'm on MAC OS X.12.3

    nothing but a startup screen with a spinning ball. New iMac pro
    10.12.4 (16E195)
